Q: What is Tax Payments ?

Tax Payments is an application on RazorpayX that enables merchants to pay TDS across different categories seamlessly.

Q: How can I pay TDS/TCS via Tax Payments ?

You can access the Tax Payments app as soon as you sign up and get activated on RazorpayX. TDS can be paid by visiting 'Tax Payments' on your dashboard and entering the details like TDS category, major head, minor head and tax amount to complete the payment and receive the challan. </br/> </br/> Additionally, you can also auto-debit TDS on invoice payments on the Vendor Payments app.

Q: Do I need to input TAN and address for each tax payment ?

No, we store your TAN and address at the time of onboarding and use the same for all the TDS payments. This way, the time taken to make each TDS payment decreases significantly.

Q: Can I collaborate with my accountant to make the TDS/TCS payments ?

Operations role in RazorpayX can create TDS payment entries but cannot make a payment. You can assign this role to accountants/ tax experts to create the TDS entries accordingly. Business owners can pay all of them at once before the due date.

Q: Can I pay multiple TDS/TCS payments at once ?

You can ask your tax expert or accountant to create multiple TDS entries once the books are closed for the month. You can pay all the TDS entries at once with a single OTP.

Q: Can I access my TDS/TCS challans later ?

All TDS challans are stored on the dashboard categorised by paid date, deduction month and TDS category. You can access all the past challans by clicking on view challan on details view.
